Where can you find us?
In order to meet the needs of our learners, we work with young people across a range of settings; it's one of the ways we try to be as inclusive and flexible.

We don't look or feel like a traditional school...
We understand that many of our learners haven’t had the most positive experience of school — so we’ve made sure our space doesn’t look or feel like one.
We share our premises with Northern Alliance Games, a community hub where people come together to play board, tabletop, and card games. Everything from the furniture to the displays is designed to be easily adaptable.
When SEH takes over the space, our environment remains flexible and responsive — designed to support regulation, comfort, and focus. One room might become a low-demand space with bean bags and sensory tools, while the next is set up for GCSE Maths with structured resources. Whether it’s KS3 English paired with a quick game of swingball, primary curriculum alongside trigger point pilates, or a 1:1 coding session, the space shifts to meet the needs of each learner and session.
We’re developing the space in consultation with Jigsaw Therapy Services to ensure it’s inclusive, adaptive, and neurodivergent-friendly. As we grow — and with future funding — we aim to expand what’s on offer even further, creating a vibrant, responsive space for learning, connection, and community.
